OVERVIEW

Beginners Triathlon Events
“GO TRI” Events make triathlon accessible to all and are the perfect way to try your hand at the sport. They’re local, reasonably priced events with manageable distances and purpose-designed for beginners.

Go Tri Triathlons usually start with a pool swim. Then it’s onto the bike and practically any roadworthy bike will do. You just need a helmet.  You finish with a run. Or if swimming’s not your thing you could try a Go Tri Duathlon (run, bike, run) instead.  At our GO  TRI events you get all the features of a full distance event including chip timing and results on the day.


HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE & WHAT ABOUT EXPENSIVE KIT?

A swimming costume, any road worthy bike, a helmet and a pair of trainers and you are ready to take part. Front crawl or breaststroke, all in one go or stop after every length, it’s your choice. Swimmers are grouped by ability so it’s fun for everyone. We also have a Go Tri category aimed at absolute beginners.
