Overview

A chance to run round the stunning Mount Edgcumbe Peninsula. It’s a single loop 10.6K run loop that’s is mostly on coast path. It also means that the two lap run is exactly a full half marathon and four laps makes a marathon. This route really is a corker with great views & terrain all the way. It also has a good mix of hills and flatter, faster sections.

We’ve now kids races. We’re also starting the 10K and half marathon together and for 2027 the run is anti-clockwise. This means it’s wide with plenty of space for passing for the first couple of miles. It also means a fairly gentle start with the tough climbs coming later in the lap.

The Marathon has a cut off time of 7 1/2 hours.

Parking & Accommodation

There is plenty of paid for parking within easy reach of event HQ.
By Ferry, We are working with the Plymouth Boat Trips company to provide a short ferry ride to the race site from Plymouth. The trip across the water takes just 8 minutes and an early service will be put on for Competitors, spectators and marshals to get across. More details to follow

Camping
We are offering camping in the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe for up to 4 nights, pre booking is advisable when entering the event.

Hotels & Other accommodation

There is plenty to choose from locally and our date is before the main holiday season.

Awards & Medals

There is a custom medal for all finishers.

In addition we have podium medals for the Top 3 overall in each of the following categories: Overall, Vet 40, Vet 50 & Vet 60.

Please note we operate a one prize per person policy. So if a vet is the overall winner they will get that medal & prize & the other Vet 40s will move up one place.
