We had an overwhelmingly positive response to the new run routes for the 7th Dartington Duathlon on Sunday 20th March. For the first time we had permission to take the runs through the Dartington Hall Gardens. They provided a great back-drop to the event and also meant that Run 2 in particular is considerably flatter. It’s mainly on tarmac & paths with little chance of mud. Road shoes are now the best choice for Run 2. Run 1 also takes a loop through the Gardens and means we can now start the run just next to transition and still ensure the Run 1s for the Standard and Sprint distances are a full 10K and 5K respectively.
