RUNNING RACES

2021-2022 Season

One of the first races we organised back in 2013 was a night trail running race. And we still think there’s nothing better than the camaraderie of a mass start running race. Probably our best known running race is the Burrator 10K at beautiful Burrator Reservoir. But we also organise Haldon Night on the woodland trails just south of Exeter and two races on Woodbury Common, the Devon Trail 10K & the Battle of Woodbury Common. Our Bristol race, Back 2 Black, is taking a break next year but we hope to have it back on the calendar in 2023.

HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE & WHAT ABOUT KIT?

Running is a brilliantly simple sport. All you need is a pair of shoes, some shorts or leggings & a t-shirt. For that reason running races attract a wide range of abilities. For example, the winner of the Burrator 10K usually finishes in well under 35 minutes, while the slowest runners take a more leisurely 1 1/2 hours. Of course for our night races you’ll also need a headtorch. See our Night Running Tips
